The Fish Carved Wooden Poster

The Fish

According to Greek mythology, when the father of all monsters, Typhon, attacked the gods, Aphrodite and her son Eros leaped into the river Euphrates. They were carried to safety by two fish. The fish were later honoured by being placed in heaven as the constellation Pisces. Another myth also says that Aphrodite and her son transformed into fish to escape Typhon. The fish swimming in opposite directions symbolizes the concept of yin and yang representing the duality of nature. This wood wall art is for fans of Greek mythology and Pisceans. If you're a fish-loving Bengali like us, this wood wall hanging deserves to beautify the walls of your home.
