Wooden Plates - Set of 3 | Handmade Dinner Plates | Quarter Plates

A set of 3 handmade wooden dinner plates or quarter plates that you can choose from for your next housewarming gift. Every new homeowner will love these unique wooden plates in their dining table and kitchen. This is a unique set of 3 wooden plates with each plate made from a different wood type. Each wooden plate is handmade at the Woodgeek workshop by our maker, the first woodgeek. Our wooden plates are one of a kind and not available anywhere else. 

This set of wooden plates is made from hardwood - black sirish and birchwood and a unique patterned plywood. Our wooden plates are coated with an Italian food safe polish from ICA and are safe for hot foods and most gravies(except turmeric). Wooden plates are long lasting and more durable than porcelain and ceramic plates. 

Each wooden plate takes over an hour to carve from a block of wood and turn them into a dinner plate or quarter plate. The entire process is handmade from woodturning on the lathe, sanding and finishing. Our maker, the first woodgeek, shows you how our wooden plates are crafted at the woodgeek workshop.

• Set of 3 wooden plates. Choose from 3 dinner plates or 3 side plates.
  
• Made using hardwood - black sirish and birchwood, and patterned plywood.
• Wooden plates are durable and stronger than glass. 
• Finished with an Italian food safe varnish from ICA for protection
• Safe for hot food and most gravies (except turmeric) 
• Dinner plate sizes: Diameter - 10.5 - 11 inches approx; Weight - 250 gms / 0.55 lbs to 500 gms / 1.1 lbs depending upon wood type.
• Side plate sizes: Diameter - 7 inches approx; Weight - 100 gms / 0.22 lbs to 200 gms / 0.44 lbs depending upon wood type.

• Turmeric based food and gravies will leave a yellow stain on the wooden plates. This is a natural product and turmeric seeps into the wood grain and leaves a yellow stain.
  
• Do not put in a dishwasher, hand wash using soapy water and dry immediately. Do not leave it soaked in water in the sink for long periods of time.
• Do not put in a microwave. This is a natural wooden product and heating it in a microwave is not safe.
• Do not expose to harsh sunlight or under extreme heat for long periods of time.
  
• Keep dry. Store in a clean dry area.

This is a handmade product. Orders for handmade products can take 10-12 days to make and ship. 

Domestic shipping & delivery (INDIA)
Domestic shipping (India) is free.  Delivery to metro cities takes 3-5 working days after we ship. You will receive tracking number for your package after you product is shipped out.

International shipping & delivery

We offer international shipping to most countries. International shipping rates are displayed during checkout. Delivery to Asia, North America and Western Europe takes 7-10 days*. You will receive a tracking number for your package after you product is shipped out. The customer is liable to pay any customs duty and local taxes applicable on the product.

You can return any non-customized product (without custom engraved text or image) for a refund or exchange.

The product must be returned without any scratches or damage. 

- Full refund on cancellations 

We will issue a full refund if you request for cancellations before we iniate production of your order. Once production is complete, no refund will be initiated for custom engraved products.
